2018 Chilkoot Gran Fondo - CANCELLED FOR 2018!

Due to the cancellation of the North Star Bike Festival, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to cancel the 2018 Chilkoot Gran Fondo.  We hope to bring the Gran Fondo ride back next year.

STILLWATER, Minn. –  Cyclists of all abilities are invited to the beautiful St. Croix River Valley to participate in the Second Annual Chilkoot Gran Fondo on Sunday, June 17, 2018. The event will begin and end at the
Stillwater Middle School located in Stillwater, Minn. All proceeds will benefit youth cycling in the Saint Croix River Valley.

We are excited to host our second Gran Fondo just east of the Twin Cities,” said Mike Lyner, Chilkoot Gran Fondo event director. “It’s a beautiful setting for quality recreation in the beautiful Saint Croix River Valley, and we are looking forward to a fun event for both serious cyclists as well as families and friends.  This year we are partnering with the North Star Grand Prix, so participants can ride our beautiful roads, then enjoy some of the best bike racing in the country.”

There are three adult rides of varying distances. Following the rides, riders can leave their cars at the school parking lot and walk or ride the short distance downtown to watch the exciting North Star Bicycle Festival bike race up the famous Chilkoot Hill in downtown Stillwater.  There will be a free, secure bike coral.

Ride Registration

Participants can register online through June 15 10:00 p.m. at USA Cycling. Participation is $20 in advance and $25 day-of. Day-of registration opens at 6:00 a.m.
